Tasting #55 White

Name: 2010 Estrella
Grape: 100% Chardonnay
Color: straw yellow
Smell: pear, vanilla, banana
Taste: smooth, sweet, pear, vanilla, oak
Dryness/Sweetness: pretty sweet
Food: just tasting
Country/Region: Napa, California

Alcohol Content: 12.5%
How much? $5.95
Would you drink it again? At least one more time – This was really smooth.

Extra thoughts? For $6, a definite yes. The “oak monster” doesn’t attack you either, as Gary V would put it.

Other reviews:
From the Vintage Cellar:
“Intensely flavored and balanced with layers of vanilla, butter and pear, followed by apply, banana, and oak.”

My rating scale works as such:
1. Never Again
2. If someone else bought it
3. I'd keep it in mind
4. At least one more time
5. Going to get another bottle right NOW!
